Joshua Klein on the intelligence of crows

Hacker and writer Joshua Klein is fascinated by crows. (Notice the gleam of intelligence in their little black eyes?) After a long amateur study of corvid behavior, he’s come up with an elegant machine that may form a new bond between animal and human. – from TED.COM

I absolutely love this piece. Crows are highly intelligent creatures and this ten-minute video sheds some light on their remarkable learning abilities. What it also sheds light on is a young man who is doing something very worthwhile. He’s looking at mutually beneficial ways that we can interact with other species. I hope you enjoy this video that highlights the amazing cleverness of crows!

Length: 10 minutes
