Michael Pritchard’s water filter turns filthy water into drinkable water

Too much of the world lacks access to clean drinking water. Engineer Michael Pritchard did something about it — inventing the portable Lifesaver filter, which can make the most revolting water drinkable in seconds. An amazing demo from TEDGlobal 2009. – from  TED.COM

This is a remarkable invention that has the potential to save millions of lives at a fraction of the cost we would have thought possible not so long ago. This, because Michale Pritchard found the current mechanisms used to deliver water to those who need it most inefficient and unacceptable. And so, he took action and created something much better! Well done Mr. Pritchard .. well done!
