(Updated Sept 1, 2009)
If you are wondering why I have not posted many new articles lately, well, the last few weeks have been extremely busy for me. It is also a very exciting time!
Announcement Soon!
Many of you have asked what I was alluding to in the article “Know your strengths and weaknesses” where I mention that I am currently building a new entity.
I will be making an announcement here at synaptici within the next 10 days. I can tell you that I am very excited, as is the excellent team that is working on this creative and ambitious new venture.
Steady growth at synaptici.com
The readership at synaptici has been growing steadily each month. As you can see, our readership continues to experience excellent growth. August had 42,424 page views, our best month ever! Over the last few weeks, we are trending towards 2000 page views per day!
Thank you to all of our readers and those who have referred us to others. Without you, these charts would not exist!

Synaptic Studios
Synaptic Studios has also been experiencing steady growth. While the site is not yet where we want it aesthetically, it has come a long way. Chris Finch, who is now helping in a big way (thanks Chris) has contributed quite a few pieces for the essential listening category and I have six new guitar lessons from him to post as well! If you are a guitar player, this site has a lot to offer. If you are not but love music, be sure to check out the essential listening posts. There are some marvelous performances by the likes of Jeff Beck, Pat Metheny, Michael Hedges, Eric Johnson and many more to come!
New Articles?
As for new articles, I will be posting some new ones by the end of the week. In the mean time, I was recently pointed to a blog run by Rebel Brown. I have not read everything she has written but what I have read was excellent and she offers some great business advice.
Here are a few very good articles by her:
Is Fear Really the Great Motivator?
Sales & Marketing – How to Kick Butt Together!
Kelowna and Terrace Mountain Fires
If you didn’t see the incredible photos that Greg Aspa took recently of the Kelowna and Terrace mountain fires in British Columbia, you really should.
Kelowna Fires (the helicopter pictures are unbelievable)
That’s it for now .. keep your eyes opened for the “announcement”
I wish you all a great week!
Cheers,
Gil
